Plans for new downtown Omaha riverfront stadium continue

The new stadium is an effort to keep the CWS in Omaha for another 20 to 25 years. NCAA officials have threatened to move the event to another location after the current contract expires in 2010 unless certain conditions are met.

Review committee to announce potential stadium sites

A special stadium review committee has announced they will make a presentation on potential sites to the Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority on February 6th.
