 Mother Nature offers her own Missouri river 'Spring Rise'

Council Bluffs Plans to build an 85-acre riverfront park for for recreation, outdoor movies and concerts, hiking and biking at the eastern end of the Bob Kerry Pedestrian Bridge called 'River's Edge Park'.

The first annual Missouri River Treasure Run was held last month on July 11th. According to organizers, More than 150 boats paid to participate and $6,000 in raffle and other prizes were awarded to the winners.
