of a capsized boat and two stranded persons. One located on the bank and the other on a rock dike.
While the Coast Guard coordinated a response, the JACK FLAHAUT crew continued to
amonitor the situation, as they were under way and could not completely stop. They located two additional persons a mile down stream.
The Glasgow Fire Department dispatched a rescue boat and reported that
"all four Fish and Wildlife Service personnel were safe" with no one missing after capsizing their boat while dragging a net for fish collection.
How ironic!
Maybe the the USFWS will recant their recent river management proposals, which if implemented, would result in the termination of all lower Missouri River barge traffic, putting these guys on the bread line!
