only public tour boat on the Missouri River has expanded its
entertainment venue to dry
land. The River City Star moved to its new location at
Miller's

and added a brand new facility called the River
City Yacht Club.The Yacht Club houses the managing office
for the excursion boat and includes the ticket office and public
restrooms. There is also a covered outdoor pavilion available for
small events up to 200 people. Catering for your private party or
event can be arranged through the yacht club.
New this year is the addition of Muddy Mo's Watering Hole.
A grand opening is scheduled
for April 26th with live music by Mem Shannon and the
Membership, a national Blues band from New Orleans. The band
will play from 7pm - 9pm. This new addition will give folks a
chance to sit by the river with their favorite beverage and enjoy
the beauty of Omaha's new riverfront.

If you're looking for a unique way to explore the riverfront,

4 Fun', available at the Yacht Club. Quadracycles can be rented by
the hour and carry up to six

passengers. The Quads can be ridden on the Riverfront Trail, Heartland of America Park and in the Old Market. In the Old Market, the
boundaries are 16th Street to the West, Jackson to the South and Dodge Street to the North.The
first public cruise on the River City Star is April 15th, 8pm-11pm.
Admission is FREE. Prizes will be given away and a cash bar and
concessions will be available. Call (402) 342-7827 to make
reservations. Sightseeing tours are scheduled every Saturday and
Sunday or you can make reservations for a dinner cruise on Tuesday
and Friday evenings. The cost is $35 for adults and includes a
buffet and live music. The dinner cruises will have a different

River City Star crew are planning many special events this summer
including a benefit for the Nebraska Children's Home called 'Sand
in the City' in June and a Lobster Fest July 8th - 10th. To

Rd.)
