again this year, Omaha citizens and visitors to the city will be
treated to several FREE music concerts on the riverfront.
The 'Playing with Fire' music series begins on Saturday, May 20th.
This is the first of five events scheduled throughout the summer.
"Playing With Fire" was born in 2004 as a gift to the citizens of the City of Omaha. It was the dream of local businessman, Jeff Davis, former CEO of Davis Erection. to share the music he loves with the city he loves.
Several corporate sponsors and numerous dedicated volunteers have
joined him in presenting the concerts which are enjoyed by
thousands of people who love the blues each summer. Concert goers
are asked to bring a canned food or non-perishable food item that
will be donated to The Food Bank of Omaha. The FREE concerts
will be held at Lewis & Clark Landing, Omaha River Front, on
the banks of the Missouri River. Gates will be open one hour prior
