ottonwood Marina in Blair, NE (mile marker 651) is now open for the season and has a new name. The new owners have renamed the marina to 'Pop-N-Doc's Too @ Cottonwood Marina'. Two of the three new owners also own Pop-N-Doc's Marina in Decatur, NE.

The 'new' Cottonwood owners: Bob Hutton, Kirk Hutton & Jeff Thelen are excited about taking on this project and will welcome visitors for the first time over the Memorial Day weekend.

Although much work still needs to be accomplished on the kitchen facility of the building, they will have refreshments available for purchase and possibly limited outside menu items. Gas is available on the dock and boat slips are ready for lease.

The 'Pat O Show' will provide entertainment on the patio Sunday & Monday (May 28th & 29th) from 3pm to 8pm.

In addition, the campground just south of the marina is also under new ownership and plans to be open for the holiday. The campground now known as 'Riverside RV Park' is owned by Randy & Jodi Beach. The Beaches also own  Linoma Beach Resort in Gretna, NE. and Lake Platteview.

Improvements to both properties will take some time and a lot of work but if you love the outdoors and enjoy being close to the river, this is the place for you.
