River boaters will have an opportunity to take part in a newly
revised event this year on Saturday, July 11th. Formally known as
the Missouri River Poker Run, this year's Aquapalooza event will
not be a poker run but will involve at least 5 fun-filled stops
along the river with the day ending at the Anchor Inn (mile marker
619).
EVENT UPDATE:
The Treasure Run will be held on Saturday July 11th from 10am to 5pm, Anchor Inn will be open for Breakfast at 10am and will remain open to host the end party until 1am.
In lieu of a Poker Run, we have decided to make things easier and more fun for all involved. 1000 raffles will be sold on the day of the event at the following locations: Sandpiper, Anchor Inn, Dodge Park and Cottonwood.
Cost for each Raffle is $10.00. The Raffle income will be used to hand out as cash prize money!!!! Raffle tickets will be sold until 3pm or while supplies last.
Each boat that signs up before the free t-shirt deadline will
receive two free Aquapalooza T-shirts per boat.
Stops which are all optional will include: Sandpiper
Cove Marina, Anchor
Inn, Dodge
Park, Honey
Creek, and Cottonwood. Various prizes will be given away at the different stops. Prizes will be awarded immediately at each stop. The more you stop, the more you win.
As for the cash prizes: A random drawing will be made at Anchor Inn after the run is complete. An announcement will be made at Anchor Inn. Participants DO NOT have to be present to win cash. If you are not present a check will be mailed to you.
