Exhibit tents with historical information about the Lewis and Clark Expedition's journey through the State of
Missouri. |

An exhibit on the history of the Missouri River featuring a presentation by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
about their Wildlife Mitigation Project. |

An American Indian tipi with presentations about American Indian culture and interpretation by Joseph "Fighting
Bear" Hodge, (An American Indian and AmeriCorps Member with the Missouri River Communities Network.) |

The Missouri Territory survey maps showing the Missouri River of 1816 and detailing the campsites of Lewis and
Clark and their journey through Missouri. |

Information about recreational boating and boating safety on the Missouri River. |

A slide show about the Missouri River of 1816 with the campsites of Lewis and Clark across Missouri. |

A Lewis and Clark educational trunk for young people, including replica boats, beaver skin, buffalo hide, fox
pelt, an Indian flute, and other resources |

Books, articles, maps, magazines, medallions, and other Lewis and Clark related information as well as Osage
Indian Fry Bread mix and Native Hominy. |

Children's activities including: making and painting a replica tipi, making an Indian paint brush out of wood
and horsehair, learning simple Indian sign language, making a quill pen and writing a journal entry, and playing
traditional Indian games. |

AmeriCorps members will be dressed up in "period clothing" and providing interpretation about historical information of the expedition, information about the Missouri River today, and information about the American Indians that lived in the area in 1804. |
